Donation Policy:
When accepting a donation, it is imperative that the donor sign a release form, including all information about the donation and sign, indicating that they relinquish all rights to the item and what happens to it.

When accepting a donation, it is imperative that the donor sign a release form, including all information about the donation and sign, indicating that they relinquish all rights to the item and what happens to it.
The person responsible for collection development of The Rockford Peaches
Archive must:
-write grant proposals to secure funding for the archive- for building needs, staff salaries, supplies, as well as for purchasing items for collection
-assess the available materials and use all selection tools available to purchase and acquire materials related to the AAGPBL team
The Rockford Peaches
-since many of the items in the collection will come from donations, the position requires the ability to meet with possible donors and assess their items, including off site visits
-maintain the collection, including any weeding and/or needs for repair
-keep current on collection development trends, as well as the changing demographics of the community
-develop programs and special events in order to increase awareness of the collection
-come up with new and innovative ways to use and feature the collection throughout the community
- maintain an ongoing relationship with and serve as a liaison between the three partnering institutions, Rockford Public Library, Midway Village Museum, and The International Women's Baseball Center
-partner with other community organizations in an effort to reach the community
